Hon’ble Minister of Ports & Shipping, Shri Nitin Gadkari, in discussion with L&T technical experts and investors – 2016

Shri Gadkari said, “I like this project very much. We should evaluate a BPT location,” and immediately invited us to present before the Mumbai Port Trust Committee chaired by Madam Ranjani Jadhav. Subsequently, BPT’s 2025 Master Plan officially encourages tourism‐oriented developments.

At the forum, Shri Ratan N. Tata remarked, “We will look into this project once the location is finalized,” signaling Tata Group’s readiness to engage pending site confirmation.
